 Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) has honored Adnan Saffarini Engineering Consultant its excellent level of effective cooperation provided to support the DSC's initiative for the construction and building price index. Mr. Tareq AL Janahi, Deputy Executive Director of DSC, has honored Eng. Adnan Saffarini, General Manager of Eng. Adnan Saffarini Engineering Consultant Office during a special visit to the office. Mr. Adnan Darwish, Director of Corporate Communication and Resources, and Mrs. Faeqah Abdullah, Head of Prices Statistics Section of Dubai Statistics Center were present along with Mr. Belal Saffarini and a number of officers and engineers from the Office.
Mr. AL Janahi said that Dubai Statistics Center always seeks to promote the relation and partnership with the private sector, which reflects on the DSC"s strategy towards the "business sector". He noted that the data submitted by "Saffarini" has contributed to calculating the main inputs of the construction and building price index. This initiative is one of the strategic initiatives organized by DSC to build an integrated price index system for the Emirate of Dubai. Such index represents accurate and highly reliable reference for the parties interested in developing data related to commodities prices and various services or those related to the economic activity development.
On his part, Eng. Ahmed Saffarini said that "Based on the instructions of HE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, May Allah protects him, the office has paid considerable attention to local community service through cooperation with the educational institutions, training courses for engineering undergraduates and coordination with the relative governmental institutions, including Dubai Statistics Center, to share the experiences of the Office." He added that "we highly appreciate the consideration and interest showed by DSC and we thank you for trusting us and looking forward to cooperating with you for the public interest of our dear nation."
